Boilerplate
Eldris is an applied AI firm. It builds OOMU, a Mac app that puts AI agents to work on the computer a person already owns, running everyday work locally, showing every step before it runs, and asking before it acts. OOMU is free to use, including at work; the paid product is OOMU Control, for organizations that need to govern it centrally. Eldris also advises boards, counsel, investors, and policymakers on consequential AI decisions. The firm was founded by Dr. Jeffrey Allan, whose doctoral research is on applied AI in the multinational enterprise and who is the author of two bestselling AI books for Wiley.
Please use "firm" rather than "startup" or "agency," and "Dr. Allan" on second reference.

On the record, on background, or on a panel. He will also say when a question is outside what he can speak to usefully, which is more often than you might expect.

What it takes to let software act on someone's behalf safely, and how that holds up outside a controlled demonstration.
Drawn from years representing organizational interests before state and federal policymakers.
The subject of his doctoral research, and of two decades working across the United States and Asia.
How directors and investors should test an AI business case, and where those cases usually fail.
Why the industry benefits from making the technology look difficult, and what it costs the people it is sold to.
The raven is the Eldris mark. It is a single black shape and should be reproduced in solid black on light backgrounds or solid white on dark ones, with nothing added to it. The wordmark is set in Outfit Bold.
Please do not recolor the mark, apply effects to it, set it inside a container shape, or rebuild it as an outline. It has no symbolic program attached to it, so there is no raven lore to repeat.
For OOMU product screenshots, the app icon, and the OOMU mark, use the assets on oomu.ai. Anything you need that is not on either site, ask and we will send it.
Coverage
OOMU is in public beta and the firm has not run a press cycle. When there is coverage worth reading, it will appear here rather than as a wall of logos. In the meantime, the product is free and takes about a minute to install, which is a better basis for a story than a briefing.
