We're plain about what this site collects, why we collect it, and how to opt out.
What this site collects
This website is a set of static pages. It has no accounts and shows no advertising.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages people read, roughly where visitors arrive from, and what we should improve. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data for us as our analytics provider. It reports on traffic in aggregate and does not tell us who you are, and it does not store your full IP address.
You can opt out by declining analytics cookies in your browser, using a tracker-blocking extension, or installing Google's opt-out add-on. None of that changes how the site works for you.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. Those logs are used for nothing else.
When you contact us
The contact form sends what you type to a server we operate, which turns it into an email and delivers it to us through Mailjet, our email delivery provider. Nothing you enter in the form is stored in a database on this website.
We receive what you choose to send: typically your name, email address, organization, role, the kind of matter, who needs to be satisfied, your timing, the jurisdiction, and your description of the issue. We use it only to respond to you and to carry on the conversation you started.
Please do not send privileged, classified, export-controlled, or otherwise sensitive material through the form. If a matter calls for a secure exchange, we will arrange one after the first conversation.
We never sell your information, share it with third parties for marketing, or add you to mailing lists you didn't ask for.
Third-party links
This site links to and loads services from external sites, including Google Analytics, oomu.ai, and LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Data retention and your rights
Correspondence is kept only as long as it's useful for working with you. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to us through the contact page on this site.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. We won't quietly loosen it.
